ABOUT MS. VACHON

My name is Erin Vachon. This is my 9th year of teaching, my 5th year in JCPS, and my 1st year at J. Graham Brown School. I am very excited to be joining the Brown family.

I'm originally from Bullitt County. I went to Brooks Elementary, Hebron Middle, and North Bullitt High School. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Conservation. I also earned a Master's of Public Administration from the University of Louisville, and a Master's of Arts in Teaching from the University of Louisville. Teaching is my second career and my true calling. Before I became a teacher, I was an Environmental Coordinator at the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District working to improve air quality in Louisville and the surrounding areas.

In my class you can expect to work hard, have a little fun, and learn a lot! I expect you to give 110% effort every day and I will do the same. I expect you to BE YOUR BEST! If you do that, you will have no problem being successful in my class.
